Accessibility

Last updated: October 4, 2026

We want GEO to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion. This page describes what we do and how to tell us when something falls short.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across readgeo.net and the GEO iPhone app, and we review new features against them as we build.

What we've done

Text meets WCAG contrast minimums on GEO's backgrounds. Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link. Form fields, buttons, and dialogs carry labels for screen readers. The price ticker pauses when you hover or focus it, and stays still if your device asks for reduced motion.

Charts are visual, so each chart section also states its key figure in text (for example, the “Report data” line above inventory and positioning charts), and the briefs describe every move in words.

Known limitations

Interactive chart scrubbing is designed for pointer and touch. The same figures are available in the text summaries and the briefs. Some third-party pages we link to (news publishers, government agencies) are outside our control.

Feedback

If any part of GEO is hard to use, email hello@readgeo.net with the page and what happened. We'll respond within five business days and work with you on a fix or an accessible alternative.
