Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, along with a securely hashed password managed by our authentication provider. We never store your password in plain text.

Delivery preferences. We store your brief and email settings so we can deliver the right briefs to you and honor your choices.

Usage analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand aggregate traffic to our site. Plausible is cookieless, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a personal profile or collect personally identifiable information.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details; Stripe handles that information directly under its own security standards.

We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver briefs by email and on the web, process subscriptions and billing, respond to your support requests, and maintain and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless.

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run GEO. Each processes only the information needed to perform its function: Supabase (account authentication and database), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), DigitalOcean (brief-generation infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing for paid plans), and Plausible (cookieless analytics).

Your personal information is not used to generate briefs. Briefs are produced from public news and market data, not from your account data.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our active systems, except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, or security reasons.

You can access and update your account information at any time in your settings. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any brief or through your settings. You can delete your account, which removes your personal data from our active systems.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

GEO is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

GEO is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
